HIAWASSEE — Lakeview Academy exploded right from the opening tip in taking an 89-51 win over Towns County Friday night in Region 8-A action.
The Lady Lions (17-6, 10-1 Region 8-A) led 23-12 after the first quarter and 48-26 at halftime.
Ryann Moody had a huge night for the Lady Lions with 21 points on seven 3-pointers. Tori Taylor added 17 points, including four 3-pointers, for Lakeview Academy.
Halee Cash and Hanna Grogan had 15 points each for the Lady Lions, who will play host to Commerce on Tuesday.
