Autopsy results show a woman found dead in her Buford home earlier this week suffered post-mortem injuries from a family pet.
Toxicology results following the death of Linda "Karen" Higgins are still pending, however authorities said in a press release Thursday afternoon that the autopsy results have ruled out foul play.
Initially, Higgins appeared to have some injuries to her body but the medical examiner determined the injuries were likely caused by a family pet.
Higgins' husband suffers from a medical disability that limits his mobility and was unable to access a phone to report his wife's death, according to officials.
