CHARLESTON — The East Hall boys knocked off Wando (S.C.) 78-72 in overtime Monday in the West Ashley Classic.
Tylor Brown poured in a career-high 38 points and helped the Vikings rally from a 12-0 deficit to begin the game.
East Hall still trailed 32-17 at halftime but Brown led a 3-point barrage in the third quarter and they eventully tied the game at 60.
Tristan Cooper added 15 points, Andy Lara had 13, and Mahki Brown had 10 points for the Vikings.
East Hall next will take on St. James (Murrells Inlet, S.C.) on Tuesday in the second round.
