CUMMING — Chestatee snapped a three-game losing streak with a hard-fought 32-29 win over Forsyth Central Friday night on the road.
The Lady War Eagles (4-3) trailed 12-8 at halftime but used a 12-3 third quarter to grab the lead, 20-15, heading into the fourth quarter. Chestatee held on down the stretch.
Lindsey Caudell led Chestatee with 15 points. Brooklyn Popham added nine points and Dawndria Bell had seven points for the Lady War Eagles.
Chestatee is off for a week before playing host to Banks County next Friday.
