Second Dacula student dead after fatal wreck

By The Associated Press

DACULA, Ga. (AP) Police say a 15-year-old high school student has died from a car crash that also killed his older brother in suburban Atlanta.

Gwinnett County police spokesman Sgt. Brian Doan told local news media Saturday that Jaison Brown died after he was critically injured in the wreck about two miles away from Dacula High School. His 17-year-old brother Jared Brown was pronounced dead shortly after the crash with 44-year-old Richard Ford on Friday.

Police say the brothers were on their way to school. Jared Brown was the driver of the vehicle. Jaison Brown rode as the passenger.

Cpl. Michele Pihera says Brown made a left onto Harbins Road and drove into the path of a vehicle driven by Ford before both cars collided. Ford of Bethlehem had non-life threatening injuries.
