JEFFERSON - The Shields-Ethridge Heritage Farm in Jefferson will celebrate "cooking the way it used it be" Oct. 18.<br />

The Black Pot Cooking Festival will begin at 11:00 and end at 2:00 and feature food, kids' games, bluegrass music and more.<br />

The Shields-Ethridge Heritage Farm is an outdoor, agricultural museum that functions as an educational and interpretative facility in northeast Georgia, operated by the Shields-Ethridge Heritage Farm Foundation, Inc., which was created in 1994 as a non-profit organization established to preserve the existing buildings on 152 acres.<br />
