Baker is new GHMPO Senior Transportation Planner

GAINESVILLE - Sam Baker is the new Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Planning Organization (GHMPO) Senior Transportation Planner.

Baker will be in charge of managing day-to-day MPO activities.

Prior to joining the MPO, he worked as a Transportation Planner with the Georgia Department of Transportation where he assisted various Georgia metropolitan planning organizations develop and update their long-range transportation plans and travel demand forecasting models.

He replaces Nicole Spivey, resigned her position back in March citing personal reasons.
