UNDATED - Absentee ballots for the November 6 General Election will be available to Hall County voters starting Friday.

Elections Director Charlotte Sosebee says a written request is required for all absentee ballots and that applications are available at the elections office or on line at www.hallcounty.org.

Advance voting in Hall County will begin at the elections office, located on Browns Bridge Road at McEver in the new Hall County Government Center, beginning Monday, Oct. 15 and continuing through Friday, Nov. 2, from 8:00-5:00 daily. In addition, elections offices statewide will be open, by state mandate, for Saturday voting from 9:00-4:00 on Oct. 27.

Anyone registered to vote by Oct. 9 will be eligible to vote in the November elections.

Sample ballots for Hall County are already available at the elections office or on the Georgia Secretary of State's Website where voter information can also be found.

Questions about the Hall County ballot or voter information should be directed to the county elections office at 770-531-6945.

Elsewhere in the area, absentee ballots will also be available beginning Friday in Habersham County. (See separate story.) For information on other counties in the area and the rest of the state, check with your local elections office or visit the Georgia Secretary of State's Website.
