CUMMING-Lakeside Pharmacy & Compounding Lab is set to unveil its new and expanded store on October 1.
Located in the Northside Hospital Forsyth campus, the pharmacy will continue to offer its free delivery throughout the North Atlanta area as well as all the services that has set this pharmacy apart from the rest.
"Our phone number, email, everything is the same," says Dr. Apollon Constantinides, Lakeside's owner and pharmacist. "We are just across the parking lot now. This move has been a long time coming."
More parking is available at Lakeside's location in the 1505 building of Northside Hospital Forsyth's campus in Cumming, where the pharmacy has resided in the 1100 building for 10 years. A wider berth for curbside service will make it even easier for customers to drop off and pick up orders.
The 4,000 square-foot pharmacy will also feature a state-of-the-art compounding lab. While considered a specialty practice today, the process of mixing drugs from scratch to fit a patient's unique needs is beginning to grow in popularity as doctors, patients and pharmacists adopt a team approach to care. Lakeside has featured compounding since its first day of business.
"We are pleased to announce our expansion while maintaining our excellence in service to our customers," adds Constantinides.
