CUMMING - Police say burglars cut a hole in the back wall of a Forsyth County convenience store to steal cash, cigarettes, lottery tickets and other items.
Cumming police Sgt. Bryan Zimbardi said the thieves struck the Beverage Depot II on Georgia Highway 9 early Sunday morning.
He said they crawled through the hole in the wall and took cash, several cartons of cigarettes, jewelry, antique coins and several rolls of Georgia Lottery tickets.
Zimbardi said store owners are working with the Georgia Lottery to deactivate the missing tickets.
