Moonlighting fireman stabbed by alleged shoplifter

ATHENS - An off-duty Oconee County firefighter who was working at a Kmart store in Athens was attacked and stabbed at the store.

Jason Still was working in loss prevention for the store in Athens when he was stabbed in the chest on Monday.

Sheriff's deputies say Still was stabbed by a suspected shoplifter, who was taken into custody.

Police described Still's injury as non-life-threatening.
