State House political forums this week

GAINESVILLE - The first of two political forums this week for the candidates in next week's state House 25 election will be held Tuesday night.

Sponsored by the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, The Times and Jacobs Media, Tuesday night's question-and-answer session will be held at the Spout Springs Library in Flowery Branch and begin with a meet-the-candidates at 5:30 followed by the forum at 6:00. Questioning will be by representatives of the Times and WDUN.

Then on Wednesday night, the candidates for the same seat will gather again, this time at Gainesville State College for a debate sponsored by the school's Politically Incorrect Club and Georgians For Constitutional Government. It begins at 7:00 in the GSC Continuing Education Auditorium.
