CUMMING - Hall County Commissioners may be getting a partner in the development a new reservoir which Hall plans to use as an additional source of water.
Forsyth County Commissioners are interested in partnering with Hall County on the Glade Farm Reservoir which is still in the planning stages and would be used as as source of water in addition to Lake Lanier, the primary source of water for both counties.
A spokeswoman for Forsyth County said Friday final action on the request is expected to be taken by the county commission at a meeting next Thursday and agreed Thursday night to write a letter of interest to Hall County.
"As this discussion occurred in a work session," Jodi Gardner said, "the item will be placed on the January 21 Forsyth County Board of Commissioners regular meeting agenda. Correspondence would not be sent until after action is taken at that meeting."
