JONESBORO - Clayton County police say a stolen pickup truck being pursued by officers struck a car and killed two women, and a 24-year-old man is under arrest.
Clayton Police Lt. Rebecca Brown says the chase began Wednesday night when Clayton County police saw two men in the pickup appear to try to solicit prostitutes near Interstate Highway 75.
Brown says the men fled to the interstate and headed north, and wound up on Old National Highway in south Fulton County.
She says the two occupants jumped out of the truck and tried to run after the accident.
Brown says the driver, Christian Harris of Fayetteville, was arrested and the passenger eluded police. She says Harris will face charges that include vehicular homicide.
