HOSCHTON - Hoschton police have arrested a home invasion suspect apparently responsible for a number of burglaries in Jackson County.

Bobby Dean Jones, 38, of Braselton has been charged with a home invasion that happened Saturday in Hoschton. Hoschton Police Chief Jeremy Howell says as a result of the arrest, a number of burglaries in west Jackson County are expected to be solved.

"During the course of our investigation, Bobby Dean Jones was escorted around the West Jackson area while in the custody of the Hoschton Police Department and identified other residences that he has burglarized," Chief Howell said. "The Hoschton Police Department has been in contact with the Jackson County Sheriff s Office and will be working with their Investigators to
close multiple burglary cases in the West Jackson area."

Howell said investigators are confident that Jones acted alone and "we do
not anticipate any other arrests in this case."
