GAINESVILLE - A massive concrete pouring job was undertaken in downtown Gainesville Thursday morning as work continues on the new Georgia Mountains Center parking deck.
Workers began pouring 400 cubic yards of concrete at the site at 5:00.
Jay Yearwood with Concrete Services and Equipment, Inc. of Gainesville says it was expected to take nearly five hours to complete the work.
