Cause of Sat. night fire still undetermined

GAINESVILLE - Hall County fire investigators are still searching for the cause of a Saturday night fire that heavily damaged a house on West Ridge Road. But it appears to have been accidental.

Fire Chief David Kimbrell says the vacant house - located near the Benson Drive intersection - suffered about $20,000 in damage.

Kimbrell said Monday morning the flames had already engulfed the house when firefighters arrived about 9:00 Saturday night.
