ATLANTA - The 61st annual International Poultry Expo (IPE) opens a three-day run in Atlanta today. Held since 1948, IPE is one of the city's longest and most successful trade shows.
Sponsored by the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association, the expo and companion International Feed Expo are being held at the World Congress Center and represent every segment of the poultry and egg industry. Again, this year, it is co-hosted by American Feed Industry Association.
One of the highlights this year will be an industry outlook from Tom Hensley, President of Habersham County-based Fieldale Farms. Hensley will be the featured speaker Thursday at the Industry Education Program.
The International Poultry Expo and the International Feed Expo are the world's largest trade shows for the poultry, egg and feed sectors of the industry.
