Milton Martin Toyota receives Toyota's President's Award

NEW YORK - Milton Martin Toyota of Gainesville has been named recepient of the 2006 Toyota Motor Sales President's Award. <br>

The 21st annual award was presented to a select group of dealerships across the country. <br>

A Toyota ad announcing the award appeared in the Aug. 13 "local subscriber" issue of TIME Magazine. The two-page ad includes a picture of Milton Martin co-owners Ricky Martin and Mike Martin, Gainesville Parks and Recreation Department Board Chairman Joe Biddy, and three youngsters from Parks and Recreation programs: Trey Pardue, Kaitlin Summerour and Bleu Angel Bell. It was taken on Bobby Gruhn Field at City Park Stadium.<br>

The award is given to those Toyota dealerships that have "demonstrated a commitment to maintaining Toyota's high standards for customer satisfaction." In order to qualify as a President's Award winner, dealerships must "excel in delivering great products and providing stellar customer care in all areas of dealership operations."<br>

Milton Martin Toyota was cited for support of the Children at Play Fund. The fund was successfully launched with a $10,000 donation from the dealership to the Parks and Recreation Department. The program allow kids in need to attain scholarships to attend a wide array of athletic and recreation programs offered by the department.
