12 to represent NE Ga. in state Geography Bee

WASHINGTON - A dozen students - including two from Hall County - are headed to the state Geography Bee.

Hall County will be represented by Robert Davis of North Hall Middle School and Christian Warner of C.W. Davis Middle School.

Other students from our area who'll be competing are:

*Marcus A. Raimondi, Lanier Middle School, Buford

*Seth T. Benton, North Habersham Middle School, Clarkesville

*Cherishma D. Patel, South Forsyth Middle School, Cumming

*Ethan H. Smith, Otwell Middle School, Cumming

*Wesley J. Woody, Lumpkin County Middle School, Dahlonega

*Robert R. Ellison, Riverview Middle School, Dawsonville

*Matthew R. Josey, Frank N. Osborne Middle School, Hoschton

*Vijay Y. Rawal, Riverwatch Middle School, Suwanee

*Andrew D. McRae, Eagles Home Educators, Winder

The state Geography Bee will be held Friday in Milledgeville at Georgia State College and University.

The winner will advance to the national finals May 23 in Washington, sponsored by the National Geographic Society.
