New homes, new bank on HCPC agendas

GAINESVILLE - Another new bank and more now homes - just another day in the life of Hall County planners.

The planning board meets Monday and again on March 5.

Between the two meetings, members will be asked to okay plans for 93 new, single-family homes. Most are on the March 5 agenda, including a 54-lot subdivision on Clarks Bridge Road at Bogus Road. Also on that agenda are requests involving a 7-lot subdivision on Miller Lake Road near J. Martin Road; a 9-lot project on Gaines Mill road near Eberhart Cemetery Road; and, a new bank near Flowery Branch at Spout Springs and Hog Mountain roads which is being requested by Habersham Bancorp.

Monday's agenda includes requests for a 16-lot subdivision on Buffington Road at Cobb Griffin road and a 7-lot development on Lakeland Road at Newport Drive.

The planning board meets at 5:15 at the Georgia Mountains Center.
