BRASELTON - They've come from as far away as California and Connecticut as prospective residents of a 1,300-home "active adult" community near Chestnut Mountain. And they are learning a lot about the Village at Deaton Creek at seminars at Chateau Elan.
Tuesday is the final day of a three-day series of sales seminars for these would-be Hall Countians.
Officials with Del Webb, the developer, says more than one thousand were expected to attend.
The Village at Deaton Creek is being constructed on 535 acres on Thompson Mill Road.
Groundbreaking was held last November.
