New Hall rep named to Islands' authority

ATLANTA - A Gainesville woman has been named by the governor to the Lake Lanier Islands Authority.

Connie Hagler is the executive director and president of the Lanier Canoe & Kayak Club. Hagler also served as the officials coordinator for the Flatwater Canoe/Kayak events on Lake Lanier during the 1996 Olympics.

Hagler replaces Frank Turk as the Hall County representative on the Islands' governing board.
