GAINESVILLE - Veteran bankers Chris R. Baumgardner and Andy Stewart have joined Peach State Bank in Gainesville.

Ron Quinn, the bank's President and CEO, says Baumgardner will serve as Senior Vice President and Credit Administrator, while Stewart has been named Vice President of Real Estate and Construction Lending.

Baumgardner is a 1995 graduate of North Georgia College and State University in Dahlonega, where he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. He began his banking career earlier that year with Century South Bank and has since worked with three other north Georgia banks, most recently serving as Vice President and Senior Credit Officer for Mountain State Bank in Dawsonville.

Stewart is a graduate of Gainesville High School and received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance, from the University of Georgia. Stewart began his banking career in 1995 and most recently served the Atlanta marketplace as a lending expert with a bank in that region.

"I am pleased to welcome both Chris and Andy to Peach State Bank," Quinn said. "Both of these professionals bring to our institution exceptional ability and integrity, as well as a track record of impeccable service to their customers. I believe that Peach State Bank and our customers will be well-served for many years to come by their presence, and our community will enjoy the benefits of their mutual community commitment and involvement in civic endeavors."
