NEW YORK - NBC-TV reports that an online wedding registry lists an August 12 wedding date for Gainesville native Jennifer Wilbanks - the so-called runaway bride - but, Wilbanks says the posting is a mistake.
However, NBC reports that Wilbanks told the network she and John Mason still plan to get married.
The wedding was originally planned for April 30 in Duluth. Wilbanks disappeared a few days before the wedding date while jogging near the home in Duluth she and Mason shared. She surfaced a few days later in New Mexico, claiming she had been abducted. However, she later recanted and admitted leaving the state because of pre-wedding jitters. Wilbanks said in an NBC-TV interview in June she is a "perfectionist" and was afraid the wedding would not meet her expectations.
