GAINESVILLE - A 15-year-old is in the Regional Youth Detention Center in Gainesville charged with spraying gang related graffiti on private and public property.
Hall County Sheriff's Captain Jeff Strickland said the teen sprayed an area of Hillside Terrace in Gainesville.
"The logo for SUR-13 was spray painted on mailboxes, sidewalks and on a private drive." Strickland said. "Approximately $3,000 damage was done to the various properties."
The teen faces three felony counts of criminal damage to property. His name has not been released.
Strickland said the incident happened Monday.
