Flowery Branch meetings on comprehensive plan, streetscaping

FLOWERY BRANCH - Two meetings are planned next week at which the public can review and comment on Flowery Branch's proposed Comprehensive Plan and the downtown streetscape plan.

The streetscape meeting is Monday at the Flowery Branch Depot. That plan calls for sidewalk enhancement, landscaping and other streetscape improvements.

Then, on Wednesday, at City Hall, the comprehensive plan will be up for review. Elements of that proposal include population, housing, economic development, community facilities and services, transportation, and natural and historic resources.

Both meetings begin at 6 p.m.
