UNDATED - Early voting begins Monday in Hall County for those cities and towns where elections will be held November 8.
Oakwood is the only place in the county where polls will not be open. That's because there are no contested races and no referendums to be voted on.
Elsewhere, Gainesville has a referendum on Tax Allocation Districts, but all city council and school board races are uncontested. In Gillsville, the first contested races in 32 years are scheduled.
Advance voting for Gainesville will be held at the Hall County Elections Office. All other municipalities in the county will conduct their own early voting.
A picture ID will not be required for early voting or on election day because of a federal judge's ruling last week by the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Early voting ends on Friday.
