Hall reportedly in running for mystical theme park

ROME - Hall County reportedly is in the running for a proposed mystical theme park that could bring 1,000 jobs to the area.<br> <br> The Rome, Georgia, online news service, HometownHeadlines.com, says our area has emerged as a contender for the complex - joining those previously in the running: Cartersville/BartowCounty and Southern California.<br> <br> The report says Michael Hamilton of MythFaire Entertainment Inc. wants to build an &#34;ultimate renaissance fair&#34; valued at $50 million to $70 million and employing 600 actors and hundreds of others - and has his eyes on an undisclosed 1,000 acres or so near Gainesville.<br> <br> Organizers hope to break ground by January first. The park would employ 600 actors and hundreds of other workers, according to the report.
