Gainesville Red Cross volunteers in Florida

GAINESVILLE - Fifteen volunteers from the Gainesville Red Cross office are in Florida to help with the clean-up in the wake of Hurricane Charley.

More volunteers from the office, which includes several Northeast Georgia counties, will also be heading to the storm-ravaged area.

Red Cross officials say, however, the best way you can help the victims of the storm is through monetary donations - not donations of material goods.
