BOSTON - At 18, he's the youngest member of the Georgia delegation to the Democratic National Convention - and Clayton Adams of Blairsville says more people his age need to get involved in politics, specifically with his party.
"It's vital for teenagers and young people to be active in the Democratic Party," Adams told Channel 2 Action News Monday, the first day of the convention.
Adams, 18, also said he was a little overwhelmed at everything going on around him in Boston.
"It's a huge honor and a privilege to be here."
Adams is one of at least five northeast Georgians attending the convention as a delegate or an alternate.
