Home Depot to buy three residential flooring businesses

ATLANTA - Atlanta-based Home Depot said Tuesday it will buy three residential flooring businesses for an undisclosed amount. <br>

Home Depot says the companies do everything from helping customers choose floor designs to overseeing the installation of floors for new housing developments. <br>
<br>
The companies are Floors Incorporated, active in Baltimore, Washington D.C. and Philadelphia, Arvada Hardwood Floor Company in Colorado and Floorworks Incorporated of Arizona. <br>
<br>
Home Depot says the three companies have relationships with 17 of the top 20 homebuilders in the country.
