GAINESVILLE - A chase through downtown Gainesville Saturday night left one cop car damaged and resulted in the arrest of a Gwinnett County man.
Ronnie Womack of Sugar Hill was arrested following the 10 p.m. chase through several downtown Gainesville streets.
After hitting one car, Womak was arrested moments later near Fair Street Elementary School following a brief foot chase after he abandoned his vehicle.
Womack, so far, has been charged with DUI, driving a stolen vehicle and attempting to allude police.
