ATLANTA - Helped by demand for high-speed Internet access, EarthLink Incorporated reported Tuesday that it reduced its fourth-quarter loss but the results still fell short of Wall Street forecasts.
EarthLink said it lost $73.9 million in the fourth quarter, or 55 cents a share, down from the $105.5 million loss, or 87 cents per share, in the same period of 2000.
