GAINESVILLE - A seventh grader at North Hall Middle School has won the National Society for the Daughters of the American Revolution's county essay contest. <br>

Rachel Fairhurst and her parents, Keith and Pat, have been invited to the annual Awards Tea March 14th at First United Methodist Church in Gainesville. <br>

She will receive a certificate for winning the American History Essay Contest.
