The Chestatee pitching staff was projected to be a good one this year. And to prove it, senior righthander Brandon Smith became the second War Eagle hurler to sign a Letter of Intent to pitch in college.

While senior Whitney Randolph ususally receives most of the attention, it was fellow senior Melissa Johnson that stole the show for the Johnson girls basketball team Monday night.

Coach Jerry Davis returned to Gainesville before the 2004 season to help the Red Elephants win championships.
