Senior Josh Haymore answered the call. Haymore hit three consecutive 3-pointers and six in a pivotal second quarter to propel the Trojans to an 83-57 rout of the Knights.
Rasheem Barrett had 18 points to lead Auburn past Mercer 68-59 Wednesday night. Auburn pulled off the victory despite a shorthanded bench with freshman center Boubacar Sylla out with an ankle injury and sophomore forward Lucas Hargrove out with a broken hand.
