LAGRANGE, Ga. — The Cherokee Bluff boys tennis team's run in the Class 3A playoffs came to an end on Tuesday.
The Bears lost to top-seeded LaGrange, 3-2, on the road in the tournament's semifinals.
No. 1 seed James Rivenbark bested Ethan Black, 6-0 and 6-1, and No. 2 seed Boston Murphy beat Brayden Lamb, 6-2, 6-3, to earn the Bears two set wins.
LaGrange took the No. 3 singles battle and both doubles matches to advance to the state finals.
