Habersham Central is coming off its second consecutive region title, this time in Region 8-5A, and is looking to advance to the second round for a second straight year.
The Raiders (11-3) take on Coffee at Raider Stadium. They have allowed just 20 total goals (1.42 goals/game) while scoring 56 goals (4.0 gpg) on offense. But the Raiders aren't the only area 8-5A team in action.
Jackson County (13-5) heads to Lee County and brings in a high-scoring attack. The Panthers have scored 74 goals (4.1 gpg) while giving up just 24 goals (1.33 gpg) on the season.
East Forsyth, out of Region 8-4A, will also play on the road against Eagles Landing. The Broncos (11-6) face a tough task against the Eagles (10-0), who advanced to the Class 5A quarterfinals in 2024 and have outscored their 2025 opponents 55-9 on the season.
Towns County advanced to the second round of the Class A Division 2 playoffs on Tuesday with a close win over Elite Scholar Academy, 4-3, in Hiawasee. The Indians (17-2) will play the winner of Wheeler County/Chattahoochee County in the second round.
