The Gainesville Police Department (GPD) released a public service announcement about a lane closure to start the week.
Clarks Bridge Road at Lake Lanier Olympic Park will experience intermittent lane closures throughout Monday and Tuesday, with GPD telling drivers to use alternate routes if possible.
The closure is reportedly due to a special event going on at the park.
