The after-effects from Winter Storm Enzo are lingering for many Georgians south of Atlanta, but there are still some areas in northeast Georgia dealing with the frigid conditions and icy roadways.
Several surfaces streets were covered with light snowfall Tuesday afternoon, and continue to be affected Wednesday morning, including Cash Road and portions of Spout Springs Road. in Hall County.
GDOT officials continue to advise all commuters to drive with extreme caution, if, in fact, you need to be on the roads. This particularly applies to drivers in the areas south and east of I-985, I-285 and I-20 interstates.
Power outages have also been a concern to many residents during the past few weeks with winter storms in the region. As of late Wednesday morning, only about 200 utility customers combined between Jackson EMC, Habersham EMC, Sawnee EMC and Georgia Power were experiencing isolated outages from late Tuesday night through late Wednesday morning. Most of those have been detected in Hall, Lumpkin, Forsyth, and White Counties.
