After a drug investigation that began last year, Hall County authorities said they raided a Gainesville apartment and seized nearly $40,000 in illegal drugs.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) reports that on Tuesday morning, they entered a unit at Town Creek Apartment Homes on Washington Street and arrested three suspects on multiple felony drug offenses.
35-year-old Jytavious Darquale Collins and 36-year-old Joshua Montavious Collins, both of Gainesville, and 33-year-old Sheila Dianne Pressley of Cornelia were the three arrested.
The investigation reportedly began in September of 2024. Members of HCSO’s Special Weapon and Tactics (SWAT) team served a search warrant at around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, breaching the front door and finding the three inside.
Investigators report seizing 76 grams of cocaine, 75 grams of MDMA, 22 grams of fentanyl, four bottles of promethazine codeine, roughly four pounds of marijuana, and five alprazolam tablets.
The estimated value of the drugs is $39,950.
Additionally, investigators said they seized $857 in cash, a 9mm Glock 43, and two vehicles belonging to the suspects.
“These suspects had been on our radar for several months, so it was a relief to get them
behind bars,” said Sheriff Gerald Couch. “Our Special Investigations Unit team members worked diligently to formulate a plan to take these suspects into custody and get these dangerous drugs off the streets. On Tuesday, they executed that plan seamlessly, and I’m proud of their dedication.”
The Banks County Sheriff’s Office assisted Hall County during Tuesday morning’s operation.
Jytavious Collins is facing 10 felony charges, mostly related to possession and trafficking.
Joshua Collins is facing seven drug-related felonies while Pressley is facing four drug-related felony charges.
All three suspects are being held without bond.
