By AccessWDUN Staff

Commerce has found its next head football coach.

Lenny Gregory was named the Tigers' next coach on Monday. Gregory, who coached Collins Hill to the 2021 Class 7A championship and back-to-back region titles in 2020 & 2021, as well as coaching 2024 Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter, replaces Mark Hollars.

Hollars was let go last month after leading the Tigers to a 31-16 record in four seasons, including a region championship and four playoff berths.

Gregory spent the last two seasons at Gordon Central, leading the Warriors to their best season (4-7, first round of the Class A D1 playoffs) in 12 years. He finished at Gordon Central with a 4-17 overall record.

Before his stop at Gordon Central, Gregory spent two seasons at Centennial (2015 & 2016) and six seasons at Collins Hill (2017-2022), compiling a 63-53 overall record.

His overall record is 63-53, going 13-8 at Centennial, 46-28 at Collins Hill, and 4-17 at Gordon Central.
