As Winter Storm Cora affects the north Georgia counties and mountain region, utility crews are working to keep power and resourses running and in full power. However, there are expected outages throughout Friday's snow, sleet and projected freezing rain.
Below, is a list of current outages reported through the area's Electric Membership Corporations power untility companies:
Update as of 8:20 p.m. - Friday, Jan. 10:
There are now over 6,000 power outages in our coverage area, most coming from Gwinnett County.
Currently, Georgia Power is reporting 3,002 outages in Gwinnett and Jackson EMC is reporting 543 out of Gwinnett.
Hall County has 570 outages, most from Jackson EMC (503) and Georgia Power (66).
Jackson is another highly-impacted county with 494 outages reported and Forsyth County has 519 as of last report.

- Just over 800 people in Northeast Georgia are without power, with the majority of those being in southern Gwinnett County
