A Chevrolet Silverado driven by 41-year-old Corey Roberson of Bowersville was turning left onto the highway and he failed to see a pedestrian who was crossing.

57-year-old Hubert Williams of Commerce was struck and transported to a local hospital for serious injuries.

GSP said that Roberson did not see Williams due to “dark conditions, rain, and Mr. Williams wearing dark clothing.” They did add that charges are pending.
