A teenager from DeKalb County has been identified as the suspect in a Saturday night shooting at the Mall of Georgia in Buford.
The Gwinnett County Police Department announced Sunday afternoon that Khaden Williams, age 18, has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault in connection with the incident. The victim in the case has been identified as a 15-year-old boy, but his name has not been released. As of Sunday, police said that victim is being treated at a local hospital for injuries sustained in the shooting.
The shooting reportedly happened just after the mall had closed, just before 9:30 p.m.

A shooting at the Mall of Georgia left one person injured Saturday night.
That’s according to the Gwinnett County Police Department, who said that just after 9:30 p.m. an officer working security detail at the mall heard gunshots and ran towards them.
Officials said they quickly apprehended one subject who was attempting to flee.
The victim of the shooting was transported to a local hospital.
Detectives are canvassing the scene and trying to locate witnesses who may have seen or heard the shooting.
Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) is processing evidence and one person was transported to police headquarters for questioning.
