Hall County Central Communications (E-911) recently became a member of the Missing Kids Readiness Program which is made to enhance the protection of missing, abducted and sexually exploited children.
Hall County officials said the program was created by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The program emphasizes the importance of well-prepared responses to calls involving missing children.
Hall County Central Communications worked with NCMEC to refine its missing child policy to ensure its compliance with the center's model policy for call center agencies.
“We are so grateful to the men and women of Hall County Central Communications for their dedication to excellence and their ambitious pursuit of additional ways they can further serve the Hall County community,” Katie Crumley, assistant county administrator said. “Their commitment to seeking out additional training, programming and support ensures that the citizens of Hall County can rest soundly knowing that their safety and wellbeing are always top of mind for our first responders.”
