GAINESVILLE, Ga. — The Lakeview girls soccer team beat Bethlehem Christian, 3-0, to remain undefeated in region play at home on Tuesday.
Addi Graham put the Lady Lions (9-3, 3-0 GIAA) on the board with a volley into the upper corner off a perfectly placed corner kick by Sadie Leek.
Later in the first half, Leek was taken down inside the box with just seconds remaining in the first half to secure a penalty kick, and Annie Nivens converted the kick to put the Lady Lions up 2-0 at halftime.
Nivens scored again in the 2nd half off a cross from Jayci Purdy.
The Lakeview defense held Bethlehem off to secure their fourth shutout of the season. Goalkeeper Amelia Corbin recorded four saves.
