GAINESVILLE, Ga. — East Hall won its second straight match with a 10-0 rout of North Hall on Friday at The Brickyard.
It was a much-needed win for the Vikings (9-3, 4-3 Region 8-4A) who are locked in a seven-team fight for the final three playoffs spots. They have a huge matchup with Cherokee Bluff on Tuesday at home that could eliminate the loser.
Against North Hall (0-12, 0-8 Region 8-4A) freshman Joshuah Jones Zavala scored four goals to lead the East Hall offense and Jonathan Torres added a hat trick as well. Javier Sanchez, Jairo Aldaco and Justin Torres all scored one goal for the Vikings.
Emanuel Soto led seven different players with two assists.
