North Georgia Eye Associates will host a Grand-Re-Opening and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at its Gainesville East Location on February 29 at 5:30 p.m.
The practice combines both the Gainesville Eye Associates and North Georgia Eye Clinic, which united in July of 2023.
"We are excited to announce this merger, as it represents a significant milestone for both practices and the communities we serve," Dr. Jack Chapman, Managing Partner and Ophthalmologist at North Georgia Eye Associates said. "By combining our strengths and resources, we will be able to offer an even higher level of care, advanced technologies, and a wider range of specialized services to our patients."
The practice invited the community to attend the celebration, which will include refreshments ,a tour of the refurbished surgery center, and a musical performance by one of the practice’s ophthalmic technicians, Bradley Fields.
The tour of the new surgery center will include a look at a new ALLY Laser, as well as the opportunity to learn about the Light Adjustable Lens, the only post-surgery customizable cataract lens on the market.
Dr. Matthew Kaufman, Managing Partner, and Ophthalmologist at North Georgia Eye Associates, expressed his enthusiasm for the Re-Opening in a press release.
"This merger allows us to further our commitment to exceptional patient care by leveraging the collective knowledge and expertise of our talented team,” he said. “We are confident that our unified practice will set a new standard for ophthalmology in North Georgia."
The merger between the two practices aims to enhance patient accessibility to advanced eye care in the area.
North Georgia Eye Associates has over 100 years of combined experience.
